The Samsung Galaxy M12 has surfaced on Thailand's NBTC certification website, adding another regulatory clearance to a long list and signalling that the budget smartphone could launch soon. The NBTC listing itself revealed no specifications, but earlier sightings across multiple certification bodies and a benchmark database have already painted a fairly detailed picture of the device.
Samsung Galaxy M12 certifications point to a launch
According to a report by rootmygalaxy, the phone carries the model number SM-M127F/DS and has now picked up a certificate from Thailand's NBTC. While that particular listing kept the specifications under wraps, the handset had already appeared on several other regulatory and testing platforms.
Before the NBTC sighting, the device was spotted on a range of certification websites, including the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), Bluetooth SIG, Wi-Fi Alliance, and the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC). It was also listed on the Geekbench benchmarking platform, and photos of the handset emerged last month.

Expected Samsung Galaxy M12 specifications
The same model number recently showed up on Geekbench, and that listing pointed to an Exynos 850 processor, up to 3GB of RAM, and Android 11. Listings on the Bluetooth SIG and Wi-Fi Alliance sites added support for Bluetooth 5.0 and 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi.
It is believed that the variant carrying BIS certification, with model number SM-M127G/DS, will be another version of the phone. Back in November, the US FCC listing indicated a 6000mAh battery. Leaked pictures of the back panel showed a quad-camera setup on the rear, and the device appeared on that site with the model code EB-BM207ABY.
