The Nokia 1.4 affordable smartphone is HMD Global's latest budget handset, arriving roughly a year after the Nokia 1.3 debuted in March 2020. It steps up from its predecessor with a dual rear camera, a larger 4,000mAh battery, and a bigger 6.51-inch display, while staying rooted in Google's Android Go program for low-cost phones. HMD Global says a single charge can last up to two days.
Nokia 1.4 affordable phone price and colours
The Nokia 1.4 starts at $99 (about Rs. 7,200) for the 1GB RAM + 16GB storage variant. Two more configurations exist, a 1GB + 32GB model and a 3GB + 64GB model, but HMD Global has not disclosed their prices yet.
The phone has launched globally in three colour options: charcoal, dusk and fjord. There is no word on Indian availability so far. For context, the older Nokia 1.3 was introduced at 95 Euro (about Rs. 8,300) for its 1GB RAM + 16GB storage option.

Connectivity covers 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/A-GPS, Micro-USB, FM radio and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Sensors include an accelerometer, ambient light and proximity sensor, plus a rear-mounted fingerprint reader. The 4,000mAh battery supports 5-watt charging.
