The Samsung Galaxy A12 India launch brings a budget smartphone with a 6.5-inch HD Plus display, a 48-megapixel quad rear camera and a large 5000mAh battery. Samsung first showed the phone in Europe alongside the Galaxy A02s in November last year, and it now arrives locally to take on rivals such as the Redmi Note 9 Pro, Realme 7 and Oppo A52.
Aimed at value-conscious buyers, the phone pairs everyday performance with all-day battery life and a four-camera setup at an entry-level price.

The 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant is priced at Rs 12,999, while the 4GB RAM and 128GB storage variant costs Rs 13,999. Buyers can pick from black, blue and white color options.

Samsung Galaxy A12 specifications and camera
The phone runs Android 10 based One UI Core 2.5 with dual SIM support. It features a 6.5-inch HD Plus display at 720x1600 pixels, a MediaTek Helio P35 processor and 4GB of RAM. Storage goes up to 128GB and can be expanded up to 1TB with a memory card.
