The Xiaomi Mi 10S 108MP smartphone has officially launched, headlined by a 108MP quad rear camera setup built for a great photography experience. Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor and paired with up to 12GB of RAM, the Xiaomi Mi 10S 108MP arrives first in China, with no announcement yet about a launch in other countries.
Xiaomi Mi 10S 108MP Camera and Photography
The standout feature is the quad rear camera setup. The primary sensor is 108MP, designed to deliver a great photography experience with plenty of detail. It is joined by a 13MP ultra wide angle lens for wider framing, a 2MP macro sensor for close-up shots and a 2MP depth sensor that helps with portrait-style background separation. On the front, a 20MP camera handles selfies and video calling. Together, this high-resolution main sensor and its supporting lenses are what position the Mi 10S as a true photography-focused device from Xiaomi.
Mi 10S Price and Storage Options
The Mi 10S launched in China in three different storage configurations, giving buyers a choice of memory and storage to match their budget. The entry-level 8GB + 128GB model is priced at 3299 yuan, which is around 36,965 rupees. The middle 8GB + 256GB model costs 3499 yuan, or around 39,205 rupees. The top-end model is priced at 3799 yuan, around 42,570 rupees, and pairs 256GB of storage with 12GB of RAM for the most demanding users. Across these variants, the phone comes in Titanium Black, Ice Blue and Pearl White color options. For now this pricing applies only to the Chinese market, as the device has not been announced elsewhere.
Display, Performance and Battery
The Mi 10S features a 6.67-inch full HD+ AMOLED display with a 2340x1080 pixel resolution, a tall 19.5:9 aspect ratio and HDR10+ support for richer contrast in compatible content. The screen is coated with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for added protection against scratches and knocks. Under the hood, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor handles performance, backed by up to 256GB of internal storage so there is plenty of room for apps, photos and videos. A sizeable 4,780mAh battery keeps it running through the day, and when it is time to top up there is 30W wired fast charging as well as 10W wireless reverse charging to power up accessories. For security, there is an in-display fingerprint sensor, and the phone ships running Android 11 out of the box.
