Huawei P50 Specs and Price
The standard Huawei P50 runs exclusively on the Snapdragon 888 chipset paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. It also supports nano memory cards up to 256GB. The 8GB + 128GB variant is priced at Yuan 4,488 (approximately Rs 51,600) and will be available from September in Coco Tea Gold, Snowy White, and Yao Gold Black colour options.
The P50 sports a 6.5-inch flat Full-HD+ OLED display running at 90Hz with 1440Hz high-frequency PWM dimming and a 300Hz touch sampling rate. Its triple rear camera system includes a 50MP main sensor, a 13MP secondary lens, and a 12MP telephoto camera. A 13MP front camera with autofocus handles selfies. The 4,100mAh battery supports 66W wired Super Fast Charge, and the phone weighs a lighter 181 grams compared to the Pro.
Camera and Display Highlights
Both phones share the distinctive dual-ring rear camera module that has become a hallmark of Huawei's P-series design language. The P50 Pro's quad-camera array is particularly noteworthy: the combination of a 50MP colour sensor, a dedicated 40MP monochrome lens, a 13MP wide-angle, and a 64MP periscope telephoto enables 3.5x optical zoom and an impressive 100x digital zoom.
On the display side, the P50 Pro's 6.6-inch curved OLED panel offers a smoother 120Hz refresh rate, 1440Hz PWM dimming for reduced eye strain, and full P3 wide colour gamut coverage. The P50's flat 6.5-inch panel steps down to 90Hz but retains the same high-frequency PWM dimming technology.
