For security, Vivo has embedded a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, which is both fast and ergonomically placed. The Vivo Y77 5G is priced at 1,999 Yuan in China. As of launch, the phone had not been listed on Vivo's official Chinese website or on major Chinese e-commerce platforms such as JD and Suning. It is expected to be sold through offline retail channels in China. Separately, Vivo was set to launch a distinct Vivo Y77 5G variant in Malaysia, based on the Dimensity 810 SoC rather than the Dimensity 930.
