The Lava Blaze 5G has just become an even more compelling option in the budget 5G segment after Lava launched a new 6GB RAM variant of the handset in India, cementing its position as the most affordable 5G smartphone in the country.
Lava Blaze 5G 6GB RAM Variant: Price and Availability
The new 6GB RAM and 128GB storage version of the Lava Blaze 5G carries a price tag of Rs 11,999. However, at launch it is available for Rs 11,499 under an introductory offer. For comparison, the existing 4GB RAM and 128GB storage model is priced at Rs 10,999. Both variants will be sold through Lava's official online store and Amazon India starting February 15. The phone comes in two colour options: Glass Blue and Glass Green.
Lava is also sweetening the deal with a home repair service. If the phone is damaged, the company will collect it from your address, carry out the repair, and deliver it back — a useful perk that is rare at this price point.

Display and Performance
The 6.51-inch HD+ panel runs at a 90Hz refresh rate, which makes scrolling and everyday interactions noticeably smooth for the price. The 2.5D curved glass adds a premium feel to the edges. Powering the phone is the MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset, a capable processor that handles 5G connectivity across 8 bands while keeping power consumption in check. The 6GB RAM variant also supports up to 3GB of virtual RAM, which can be borrowed from storage to keep more apps active in the background.
Camera Setup
On the rear, the Lava Blaze 5G features a triple-camera array led by a 50-megapixel AI-assisted primary sensor. Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) is built in to reduce shake in videos. Lava has not detailed the specifications of the two secondary lenses. The front houses an 8-megapixel selfie camera suitable for video calls and casual portraits.
Battery and Connectivity
A large 5000mAh battery keeps the lights on through a full day of use, and fast charging support means you do not have to wait long to top it up. The USB Type-C port is a welcome inclusion at this price. Connectivity is comprehensive: 8 5G bands, 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 5.1 are all on board. A side-mounted fingerprint sensor provides quick and convenient biometric unlock. Widevine L1 certification means the phone can stream HD content from Amazon Prime Video and Netflix, which is not always guaranteed on budget devices.
