The Realme GT Neo 5 SE has officially launched in China, bringing flagship-tier specs to a more accessible price point. As a trimmed-down sibling of the Realme GT Neo 5 — which ships with a blazing 240W charger — the SE model steps back to 100W fast charging while still packing a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 processor, a 1.5K AMOLED display, and up to 16GB of RAM.
Realme GT Neo 5 SE Price and Variants
Realme GT Neo 5 SE launches in four memory configurations. The entry-level model pairs 8GB RAM with 256GB storage at CNY 1,999 (approximately Rs 24,000). Stepping up, the 12GB RAM + 256GB variant is priced at CNY 2,199 (around Rs 26,300), while the 12GB RAM + 512GB option comes in at CNY 2,299 (around Rs 27,500). At the top of the lineup, the 16GB RAM + 1TB variant is available for CNY 2,599, which converts to roughly Rs 31,100.
The phone is offered in two colour options at launch in China: Final Fantasy and Shadow Black.
Display and Performance
The Realme GT Neo 5 SE sports a 6.74-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution of 2772 x 1240 pixels. The panel runs at a 144Hz refresh rate and supports a 1,500Hz touch sampling rate, 2160PWM dimming, and a peak brightness of 1,400 nits — making it well-suited for bright outdoor use and smooth gaming. An in-display fingerprint sensor is also on board.
Under the hood, the phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 octa-core chip, built on a 4-nanometre process and clocked at up to 2.91GHz. Graphics are handled by the Adreno 725 GPU. The device runs Android 13 with Realme UI 4.0 out of the box.
Camera System
On the rear, Realme GT Neo 5 SE features a triple-camera setup. The primary shooter is a 64-megapixel sensor with an f/1.79 aperture, paired with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens (f/2.2) and a 2-megapixel macro sensor (f/3.3). For selfies and video calls, there is a 16-megapixel front camera with an f/2.45 aperture.
Battery and Charging
The phone is backed by a 5,500mAh battery with support for 100W fast charging — a significant step down from the 240W found on the standard GT Neo 5, but still among the faster charging options in its class. This combination should comfortably provide all-day battery life with a short charge time.
