Samsung Galaxy Book 5 Pro: Full Specifications
Both the 14-inch and 16-inch variants of the Galaxy Book 5 Pro share the same core hardware DNA, with the main difference being screen real estate. Here is what you get under the hood and on the surface.
Display and Design
The Galaxy Book 5 Pro features a Dynamic AMOLED 2X touchscreen display with an anti-reflective coating that keeps glare in check in bright environments. Samsung has also included its Vision Booster technology, which intelligently adjusts brightness and contrast for improved outdoor visibility — a thoughtful addition for professionals on the move.
Performance, AI, and Connectivity
At the heart of the Galaxy Book 5 Pro sits the Intel Core Ultra Series 2 processor, codenamed Lunar Lake. This chip includes a dedicated neural processing unit (NPU) that delivers up to 47 trillion operations per second (47 TOPS), making it well-suited for AI-accelerated workloads.
Samsung has leveraged that NPU headroom to pack in meaningful Galaxy AI features. The AI Select tool works similarly to Google's Circle to Search, letting you highlight anything on screen to get instant results. Photo Remaster is another standout — it uses AI to upscale and restore older images to high-definition quality, right on the device.
For audio, the Galaxy Book 5 Pro is equipped with a quad-speaker setup backed by Dolby Atmos support, delivering a rich, immersive soundstage that punches well above what you would typically expect from a laptop. The webcam benefits from staggered HDR technology for clearer, better-exposed video calls.
Connectivity is comprehensive: the laptop includes Thunderbolt 4, HDMI 2.1, a USB Type-A port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a microSD card reader — covering virtually every peripheral and display scenario without the need for a dongle.
One of the most impressive figures is battery life. Samsung rates the Galaxy Book 5 Pro at 25 hours on a single charge, which — if it holds up in real-world use — would make it one of the longest-lasting premium laptops available today.
