OPPO A5i and A5i Pro launched, global entry with 6000mAh battery and 8GB RAM
Oppo has launched two new phones in the global market. OPPO A5i and OPPO A5i Pro have been launched by the company. Both of these are low budget mobile phones that work on 4G processor Snapdragon 6s Gen 1. Specifications of OPPO A5i and A5i Pro
Display: Both the Oppo A5i and A5i Pro smartphones have been launched on a 6.67-inch HD + display with 1604 × 720 pixel resolution. This is an IPS LCD screen that supports 90Hz refresh rate and 1000nits peak brightness. To avoid problems in viewing the screen in sunlight, both phones have anti-glare coating.
Performance: OPPO A5i and A5i Pro come on Android based ColorOS 14.0. For processing, this new Oppo 5G smartphone has Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6S 4G Gen 1 octa-core processor. This mobile chipset built on 11nanometer fabrications includes Cortex-A73 and Cortex-A53 cores. At the same time, these smartphones support Adreno 610 GPU for graphics.
Memory: The RAM and storage given in Oppo A5i and A5i Pro differentiate them from each other in terms of processing. A5i has been introduced on 4GB and 6GB RAM which support 64GB and 128GB storage. At the same time, A5i Pro has 8GB RAM with 128GB storage. While A5i has eMMC 5.1 technology, A5i Pro supports UFS 2.1 storage.
Camera: For photography, the dual rear camera setup of Oppo A5i has an 8-megapixel main sensor with F/2 aperture and a secondary AI lens. At the same time, A5i Pro supports 50-megapixel main sensor with F/1.85 aperture. For selfie and video calling, both these Oppo mobiles have a 5-megapixel front camera sensor.
Battery: For power backup, while OPPO A5i has a strong 5,100 mAh battery, OPPO A5i Pro supports an even more powerful 6,000 mAh battery. To charge these big batteries fast, both smartphones have been equipped with 45 watt fast charging technology.
Features of OPPO A5i and A5i Pro
Both these mobiles are built on MIL-STD-810H military grade certified body.
Panda and Southern Glass have been installed on both their front and back sides to protect the panels.
OPPO A5i has been given IP54 rating and A5i Pro comes with IP65 rating.
Wet touch technology has been provided in them so that the phone screen can be operated even with wet hands.
For security, these mobiles support side mounted fingerprint sensor and fan unlock feature.
For connectivity, it also has NFC and IR blaster along with Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth.
The thickness of OPPO A5i is 7.68mm and the thickness of the Pro model is only 7.99mm.
Price of OPPO A5i and A5i Pro
OPPO A5i Pro has been launched in the Philippines for PHP 9,000. This price is close to Rs 14,000 according to Indian currency. The brand has not yet revealed the price of Oppo A5i. According to the company website, while A5i will be sold in Starry Purple and Nebula Red colors, the Pro model will be available in Midnight Purple color. Whether these two 5G Oppo mobiles will come to the Indian market or not, nothing can be said for sure right now.
