Honor X70 launched with big 8300mAh battery, 50MP camera, know the price

Honor has launched its new mid-range smartphone Honor X70 in China. It has a 6.79-inch 1.5K display and the phone works on Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 processor. The battery is its biggest feature, as Honor has given it a huge 8,300mAh battery, which is seen in many tablets today. The company claims that this phone is not only waterproof, but can also handle high-pressure water and hot water with IP66, IP68 and IP69 certification.

The starting price of Honor X70 has been kept at CNY 1,399 (about Rs 16,000), which is for 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The phone is also offered in 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB and top-end 12GB + 512GB configurations, priced at CNY 1,599 (approximately Rs 19,000), CNY 1,799 (approximately Rs 21,000) and CNY 1,999 (approximately Rs 24,000) respectively. The Honor X70 is offered in four color options – Bamboo Green, Moon Shadow White, Magic Night Black and Vermillion Red. Currently this phone is available only in China.

The Honor X70 has Android 15-based MagicOS 9.0. Its display size is 6.79 inches, which has 1.5K resolution (1200×2640 pixels), 120Hz refresh rate and 6,000 nits of peak brightness. The screen has Aluminosilicate glass protection and according to the company, it also has 3,840Hz PWM dimming with Oasis Eye Protection, which has less impact on the eyes. The Honor X70 has a Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset.

It has a 50MP OIS supported main camera at the back, which has f/1.88 aperture. The front camera is 8MP, which comes with f/2.0 aperture.

The Honor X70 has an 8,300mAh Lithium-ion polymer battery that supports 80W wired fast charging. Its 512GB version also supports 80W wireless charging and reverse wireless charging. In terms of connectivity, the Honor X70 has Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 6, NFC, USB Type-C, and Beidou, GPS, AGPS, Glonass, Galileo, NavIC and QZSS support for location services. The phone weighs around 193 grams, and its thickness is said to be 7.96mm.
