Samsung launches Galaxy Book 5, Intel Core Ultra 7 processor

South Korean smartphone maker Samsung has launched Galaxy Book 5 in India. This laptop has the option of Intel Core Ultra 5 or Core Ultra 7 processors. It has a Neural Processing Unit (NPU) providing up to 12 TOPS (trillions of operations per second). This laptop has a 15.6-inch touchscreen display. It has features like Circle to Search related to Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Price of Samsung Galaxy Book 5 in India

The base variant of this laptop is priced at Rs 77,990. It is available in four variants with Intel Core Ultra 5 and Intel Core Ultra 7 processors. It is made available in 16 GB or 32 GB of RAM and 512 GB or 1 TB of storage. It can be purchased in a single gray color. This laptop will be sold through Samsung’s exclusive stores and selected authorized retail stores of the company as well as e-commerce platforms. Samsung has offered a bank-based cashback of Rs 10,000 and no-cost EMI option for customers as an initial offer.

Specifications of Samsung Galaxy Book 5

This laptop has a 15.6-inch full HD AMOLED touchscreen with anti-glare coating. There is support for S Pen for its display. It can be configured with up to Intel Core Ultra 7 (255 U) processor and up to 32 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of storage. Samsung claims that Galaxy Book 5 gives up to 38 percent better graphics performance than its previous version Galaxy Book 4. It also has features like Circle to Search and AI Photo Remaster related to Artificial Intelligence (AI).

For connectivity, the Galaxy Book 5 has two built-in HDMI, two USB Type-A, two USB Type-C ports, a microSD slot and an RJ45 port for LAN connection. Similar to the company’s recently introduced Galaxy Book laptops, this laptop has a separate Copilot button. It offers a second screen for quick share, multi-control and multi-device connectivity. This laptop has a 61.2 Wh battery.
