Primebook 2 Pro and 2 Max laptops launched starting at ₹17,990; learn the specifications

Indian consumer tech company Primebook has launched two new laptops in the Indian market, the Primebook 2 Pro and Primebook 2 Max. The company claims that these laptops offer powerful performance at a low price, and they also feature AI-powered features. Both machines are powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 processor and run on PrimeOS 3.0 (based on Android 15). Let’s take a closer look at the pricing and specifications.

Speaking of pricing and availability, the Primebook 2 Pro has been launched with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage for just ₹17,990. The Primebook 2 Max will be available with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage for just ₹19,990. Both laptops can be purchased through the company’s official website, Amazon, and Flipkart. Launch offers include a ₹500 discount for prepaid orders placed through the company’s website. Both models are available in Chill Grey.

In terms of display and performance, the Primebook 2 Pro features a 14.1-inch Full HD IPS display, while the Primebook 2 Max features a larger 15.6-inch Full HD IPS display. Both laptops feature a MediaTek Helio G99 chipset and 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM. Storage options include 128GB for the Pro and 256GB for the Max. Battery life is up to 14 hours, while the Max model can last up to 12 hours.

The biggest highlight of the Primebook 2 Pro and Primebook 2 Max laptops is their AI-powered features. It features an AI Companion powered by Google Gemini. The AI Global Search feature allows users to find files, settings, and AI answers in one place. The Prime App Store also provides access to Android apps, allowing them to request new apps. The device’s Cloud PC feature lets you stream Windows or Linux desktops, with plans starting at just ₹19. Features like the PrimeCoding offline coding platform, Keymapping, and mobile-grade sensors (GPS, gyroscope) are also included.

Both the Primebook 2 Pro and 2 Max laptops feature backlit keyboards, dual stereo speakers, and a 1440p webcam. Ports include dual USB-A, USB-C, a MicroSD slot (up to 1TB support), a 3.5mm audio jack, and a Kensington Lock. Connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4GHz + 5GHz) and Bluetooth 5.1.

Primebook 2 Pro and 2 Max can compete with laptops like Reliance JioBook, Acer Aspire 3 and Infinix INBook X2 Plus which are available in the market at a cheaper price. However, the biggest feature of the latest Primebook 2 Pro and Primebook 2 Max is that they work on Android based PrimeOS. This allows you to experience Android apps and gaming on the laptop as well. Also, these have just been launched while other options are old, hence they can be a little ahead and can be seen as a good option. These can prove to be better for students, beginners learning coding and light office work. However, if you have to do heavy work, then higher priced models will be better.
