Xiaomi has launched two new flagship phones in its Number series. The company has launched the Xiaomi 15T and Xiaomi 15T Pro. The Xiaomi 15T Pro 5G phone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ octa-core processor. This is a mobile CPU built on 3-nanometer fabrication and capable of clocking at speeds ranging from 2.4GHz to 3.73GHz. To ensure smooth performance during heavy processing and gaming, the Xiaomi 15T Pro features a 3D IceLoop system that prevents the phone from overheating.
The Xiaomi 15T Pro features a 6.83-inch 1.5K display with a resolution of 2772 x 1280 pixels. This AMOLED screen is built on LIPO technology and supports a 144Hz refresh rate, 2560Hz intent touch sampling rate, and 3,200nits peak brightness. The previous Xiaomi 14T Pro had a 4000nits brightness, which means the company has downgraded the new phone.
For photography, the new Xiaomi 5G phone supports a triple rear camera. Its back panel features a 50-megapixel LYT900 sensor with an f/1.62 aperture, which works in conjunction with a 50-megapixel super telephoto lens with an f/3.0 aperture and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with a 120° FOV. For selfies and video calling, this phone has a 32MP selfie camera.
The Xiaomi 15T Pro’s camera can record 8K video. The company has also equipped it with 100x zoom capability. This Xiaomi smartphone’s camera has an anti-glare lens coating, which prevents sunlight or other excess light from reaching the sensor, helping to capture excellent and balanced photos.
The Xiaomi 15T Pro 5G is equipped with a 5,500mAh battery for power backup. While this is larger than the 5,000mAh battery found in the Xiaomi 14T, it may seem less than the current trend for larger batteries. For faster charging, it also supports 90W fast charging and 50W wireless charging.
The Xiaomi 15T Pro is built on a 6M13 aluminum alloy frame, providing strength. The screen is coated with Gorilla Glass 7i, which protects against scratches. The phone is IP68 certified, and the company claims it can survive drops up to 3 meters deep. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, and NFC.
This phone comes with 12GB of RAM and comes in three storage options: 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB in the global market. The price of Xiaomi 15T Pro starts from 799.90 Euros, which is approximately Rs 83,000 in Indian currency. The top model is priced at 999.90 Euros, which is approximately Rs 1 lakh. This smartphone has been launched in Black, Gray, and Mocha Gold colors.
It is worth noting that Xiaomi 15T Pro will probably not be launched in the Indian market. Even if the company launches it in the Indian market, Xiaomi 15T Pro will directly compete with Samsung S25 Ultra, Google Pixel 10 Pro, and Apple iPhone 17 Pro. It should be noted that the price of Xiaomi 15T Pro in India will be much lower than in the European market.
