Vivo V60e 5G phone with 200MP rear and 50MP selfie cameras and 6500mAh battery launched in India

Vivo launched its first phone with a 200MP main camera in India. This addition to the mobile brand’s ‘V’ series will be sold as the Vivo V60e 5G. This mid-budget smartphone features a 200MP rear camera, a 50MP selfie camera, a quad-curved screen, a 6,500mAh battery, and 90W fast charging technology. The Vivo V60e 5G is the brand’s first mobile phone to feature a 200MP main camera. It features a 1/1.56-inch ultra-large sensor with OIS, 85mm Telephoto Portrait, and 30x SuperZoom capabilities. The Vivo phone’s camera is equipped with artificial intelligence technology, allowing for AI Festival Portrait photos. An 8-megapixel wide-angle lens is also provided on the back panel.

For selfies and video calling, the Vivo V60e 5G phone supports a 50-megapixel front camera. It has a 92° wide-angle lens, which the company has named Eye AF Selfie Camera. The phone’s front camera also features artificial intelligence technology, including features like AI face fix, which prevents eye and smile distortion even if a photo is clicked incorrectly.

The Vivo V60e is the first phone to launch in India with the MediaTek Dimensity 7360 Turbo processor. This mobile chipset, announced just last month, is built on a 4-nanometer architecture and is capable of clocking at up to 2.5GHz. In testing by 91Mobiles, this phone’s processor achieved an AnTuTu score of 882,692. The Vivo V60e runs on FunTouch OS 15, based on Android 15.

This new Vivo 5G phone features a 6.77-inch FullHD+ display with a resolution of 1080 x 2392 pixels. This quad-curved AMOLED panel supports a 120Hz refresh rate, 2160Hz PWM dimming, and 1600nits peak brightness. It features an in-display fingerprint sensor and is protected by a layer of Diamond Shield glass.

For power backup, the Vivo V60e 5G comes equipped with a robust 6,500mAh battery. In 91Mobiles’ testing, its PC Mark Battery benchmark score was 15 hours and 17 minutes. The previous V50e smartphone came with a 5,600mAh battery. This means Vivo fans have received a significant upgrade in the new phone. To ensure faster charging of the Vivo V60e’s larger battery, it features 90W fast charging technology, which, in our testing, fully charged the phone from 20% to 100% in just 40 minutes.

The Vivo V60e 5G comes with IP68 + IP69 ratings, making it dustproof and waterproof. Vivo has also launched its new phone with a 3rd-generation Android OS upgrade and 5 years of security updates, ensuring a smooth phone experience for the long term.
