Huawei has added a new phone to its Nova 14 series alongside the Nova Flip S in China. It’s launched as the Huawei Nova 14 Vitality Edition. It features a 50MP camera, 5500mAh battery, a 6.7-inch flat OLED display, 512GB of storage, and several other impressive features. It could be a good option for Chinese mid-range consumers. The Huawei Nova 14 Vitality Edition features a 6.7-inch flat OLED display with FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate support. The company claims this panel can deliver 1,100 nits of brightness, ensuring excellent visibility even outdoors.
The Huawei Nova 14 Vitality Edition has very thin bezels and is expected to look impressive. The White and Blue variants of the phone have a frosted glass finish, while the Black model has a classic matte look. It weighs 191 grams and measures just 7.15mm thick, making it lightweight and slim.
The phone runs on the company’s own operating system, HarmonyOS 5.1. Huawei hasn’t shared details about its chipset yet, but it’s expected to feature a processor well-balanced for the mid-range segment in terms of performance. Regarding storage, the Nova 14 Vitality Edition will be available in two memory options: 256GB and 512GB.
Speaking of cameras, the Huawei Nova 14 Vitality Edition features a 50MP RYYB primary sensor (1/1.56″) on the rear, which comes with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization). This sensor is accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide lens. For selfies and video calling, there’s a 50MP (1/2.5″) sensor on the front.
The Huawei Nova 14 Vitality Edition packs a large 5,500mAh battery with support for 66W super-fast charging. According to the company, this battery can easily last a full day and charge quickly. The phone also boasts features like an IP65 dust and water resistance rating, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and an IR blaster.
The Huawei Nova 14 Vitality Edition is priced in China starting at CNY 2,149 (approximately Rs. 26,500) for the 256GB variant. The 512GB model is priced at CNY 2,449 (approximately Rs. 30,000). The phone will go on sale starting October 24th and will be available via the Huawei Vmall store.
