Redmi K90 Launched Alongside K90 Pro Max: Features 16GB RAM, 1TB Storage, and a Larger Battery; Learn the Price

Xiaomi has finally launched its Redmi K90 series in China. The series includes two models: the Redmi K90 and Redmi K90 Pro Max. Both smartphones run on the company’s new HyperOS 3 (Android 16-based) operating system and feature high-end features like a 120Hz OLED display, 5G connectivity, and 100W fast charging. While the Redmi K90 Pro Max features the new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 (3nm) processor, the standard Redmi K90 is powered by last year’s Elite chipset. Both phones feature a Bose-tuned 2.1 speaker system, up to 16GB of RAM, up to 1TB of internal storage, and a high-quality camera setup.

Redmi K90 Pro Max Price, Availability

The Redmi K90 Pro Max starts at CNY 3,999 (approximately Rs. 49,000) for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant. The 12GB RAM + 512GB model is priced at CNY 4,499 (approximately Rs. 55,000), while the 16GB RAM + 512GB variant is priced at CNY 4,799 (approximately Rs. 59,000). The top-end model comes with 16GB RAM + 1TB storage and is priced at CNY 5,299 (approximately Rs. 65,000). The smartphone will be available in Denim, Golden White, and Black color options on the company’s website.

Redmi K90 Pro Max Specifications

The Redmi K90 Pro Max features a 6.9-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 480Hz touch sampling rate, 3500 nits peak brightness, and supports Dolby Vision and HDR10+. It features TSMC’s 12nm AI-powered D2 display chip, which improves both visuals and energy efficiency. The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 (3nm) chipset, along with the Qualcomm AI Engine. The device is equipped with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage.

The Redmi K90 Pro Max features a triple camera setup, consisting of a 50MP (1/1.31″) primary sensor with OIS, a 50MP (f/3.0) periscope telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom, and a 50MP (f/2.4) ultra-wide lens. This setup supports 8K video recording. A 32MP HD portrait camera is provided on the front.

The Redmi K90 features a 6.59-inch OLED display with a 1,156×2,510 pixel resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It supports a refresh rate of 120Hz. The display features are almost identical to the Pro Max model. The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite (Gen 4) chipset, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage. For photography, the phone features a 50MP (f/1.88) primary sensor (1/1.55″) with OIS, a 50MP (f/2.2) telephoto lens, and an 8MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide-angle camera. The front camera features a 20MP selfie camera.

The Redmi K90 packs a 7,100mAh battery that supports 100W wired fast charging and 22.5W reverse charging. Connectivity features are similar to the Pro Max model. The phone weighs approximately 206 grams and is 8mm thick.
