Moto G100s launched in China, with a 7000mAh battery and Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset
Lenovo has launched its new smartphone, the Moto G100s, in China. The company has launched it as a lower-end version of the recently launched Moto G100 series. This phone has several features that make it a good option in the mid-range segment. While the camera department may seem lacking, considering its performance and battery life, it could prove to be a good and affordable option for users. The new Moto G100s (model number XT2537) is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset, clocked at up to 2.4GHz. This processor is considered ideal for both power efficiency and performance. The phone features LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage technology.
The Moto G100s features a 6.72-inch LCD display with a 2400×1080 pixel resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen’s peak brightness reaches 1050 nits, and it also features technologies like DC Dimming and Blue Light Protection, ensuring a smooth visual experience in both indoor and outdoor lighting conditions.
In terms of camera, the latest Moto G100s features a 50MP primary camera and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle macro sensor on the back. There’s also an 8MP selfie camera on the front, which is good for video calling and basic photography.
The Moto G100s packs a large 7000mAh battery, offering long-lasting performance. It supports 30W fast charging. The company claims that this battery can easily last up to two days.
The Moto G100s has a sturdy design and a premium look. It weighs 210 grams and is 8.6 mm thick. The phone comes with an IP64 rating, which makes it dust- and water-resistant. It also features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, dual speakers, and NFC support.
The company has introduced the Moto G100s in two color options: Blue and Black. It will be available in two storage variants in China: 8GB RAM + 128GB storage is priced at CNY 999 (approximately Rs. 12,800) and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage is priced at CNY 1099 (approximately Rs. 13,800). Pre-sales for the phone will begin on November 7, 2025.
