Honor 500 series launched with 8,000mAh battery; learn price and specifications

Chinese smartphone maker Honor has launched a new smartphone series. This series includes the Honor 500 and Honor 500 Pro. These smartphones feature an 8,000mAh battery and run on MagicOS 10 based on Android 16. These smartphones are available in four colors.

Honor 500 and Honor 500 Pro Price

Launched in China, the Honor 500 smartphone series is priced at CNY 2,699 (approximately Rs. 34,000) for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant, CNY 2,999 (approximately Rs. 37,000) for the 12GB + 512GB variant, and CNY 3,299 (approximately Rs. 41,400) for the 16GB + 512GB variant. The Honor 500 Pro is priced at CNY 3,599 (approximately Rs. 45,200) for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant, CNY 3,899 (approximately Rs. 48,700) for the 12GB + 512GB variant, CNY 4,199 (approximately Rs. 52,700) for the 16GB + 512GB variant, and CNY 4,799 (approximately Rs. 60,300) for the 16GB + 1TB variant.

Specifications of the Honor 500 and Honor 500 Pro

The dual-SIM Honor 500 Pro features a 6.55-inch Full HD+ (1,264 × 2,736 pixels) LTPO OLED display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and a peak brightness level of 6,000 nits. The smartphone’s triple rear camera unit includes a 200-megapixel wide-angle camera, a 50-megapixel telephoto camera, and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera. A 50-megapixel front camera is provided for selfies and video calls. The Honor 500 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. It features an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, Beidou, NFC, OTG, and a USB Type-C port. The smartphone’s 8,000 mAh battery supports 80 W wired charging.

The Honor 500 features a similar display and software. The processor is the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4. The Honor 500’s dual rear camera unit includes a 200-megapixel wide-angle camera and a 12-megapixel macro camera. The smartphone also has a 50-megapixel front camera. The Honor 500’s 8,000mAh battery supports 80W wired fast charging and 27W reverse wired charging. The smartphone measures 155.8 x 74.2 x 7.75mm and weighs approximately 198 grams.
