Huawei Nova 15 Pro and Nova 15 Ultra launched in China, featuring Kirin 9010S chipset and impressive camera setup

Huawei has launched its new Nova 15 series in China. This lineup includes the Huawei Nova 15 Ultra, Huawei Nova 15 Pro, and the base model Huawei Nova 15. For details on the Nova 15, click here. The Pro and Ultra models boast powerful features like premium design, advanced camera technology, and HarmonyOS 6.0 OS. Both devices are expected to appeal to photography and performance enthusiasts. Both the Huawei Nova 15 Ultra and Nova 15 Pro feature a 6.84-inch Full HD+ OLED LTPO display with a resolution of 1320×2856 pixels. This display can support a 120Hz refresh rate, 300Hz touch sampling rate, 1.07 billion colors, and P3 wide color gamut. Customers will get Kunlun Glass protection on this screen.

For performance, the Nova 15 Ultra and Nova 15 Pro are powered by the Kirin 9010S processor. The Nova 15 Ultra offers up to 1TB of internal storage, while the Nova 15 Pro has up to 512GB of storage. This chipset can provide better multitasking and performance for high-end users.

In terms of camera, the Huawei Nova 15 Ultra appears to be the most powerful. It features a 50MP primary camera with OIS, a 50MP periscope telephoto camera, a 50MP ultrawide camera, and a 1.5MP multispectral camera.

Speaking of the Nova 15 Pro, it features a 50MP primary camera with OIS, a 12MP telephoto camera, a 13MP ultrawide camera, and a multispectral sensor. On the front, both phones feature a 50MP selfie camera and a 1.5MP multispectral sensor. Both smartphones also support 4K video recording.

In terms of battery, both the Huawei Nova 15 Ultra and Nova 15 Pro feature a large 6,500mAh battery. They support 100W wired fast charging. The Nova 15 Pro measures 163×78×6.9mm and weighs approximately 202 grams, while the Nova 15 Ultra measures 163×78×6.8mm and weighs 209 grams. According to the company, the Ultra model is IP68 and IP69 rated. Whereas the Pro model has only been given IP65 rating.

Speaking of pricing, the Huawei Nova 15 Pro is priced at CNY 3,499 (approximately Rs. 46,000) for the 256GB variant in China. The 256GB and 512GB models are priced at CNY 3,599 and CNY 3,899 (approximately Rs. 49,600) respectively.

Speaking of the Huawei Nova 15 Ultra, the 256GB model is priced at CNY 4,199 (approximately Rs. 53,400). The 512GB model is priced at CNY 4,499 (approximately Rs. 57,200). The top-of-the-line 1TB variant is priced at CNY 4,999 (approximately Rs. 63,600). These models will be available in Vibrant Green, Zero Degree White, Phantom Night Black, and Purple colors.
