Chinese telecom company China Unicom has launched a new Cloud AI Pad tablet. This is a 5G tablet that works on both Android and Windows operating systems. The T9100 processor is built on TSMC’s 6nm process and has an 8-core CPU with a 1+3+4 tri-cluster layout. It includes one 2.7GHz Cortex-A76 core, three 2.3GHz A76 cores, and four 2.1GHz Cortex-A55 cores. Graphics are handled by a Mali-G57 MC4 GPU. This tablet comes with 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The tablet supports integrated 5G full-mode baseband, which pairs with the tablet’s 5G eSIM and can be activated online. It also has a built-in NPU with an 8 TOPS rating for AI features.
