Vivo Y31d Launched in Vietnam with 7,200mAh Battery and IP69+ Rating

Vivo has launched its new budget smartphone, the Vivo Y31d, in Vietnam. It comes with a robust build, a large battery, and the latest software. It is aimed at users who are looking for a powerful 4G smartphone with long battery life and durability rather than 5G connectivity. It features a 7,200mAh battery, IP69+ rating, a good display, camera, and 6GB of RAM, among other features. Let’s take a look at the full details of the phone.

The Vivo Y31d is listed in Vietnam with a 6GB RAM + 128GB storage option, priced at approximately 3,100,000 VND, which is roughly between ₹10,500 and ₹11,000 in Indian rupees. Sales will begin on January 8th, and pricing for other variants may be announced later.

In terms of design and build, the Vivo Y31d measures 166.64 × 78.43 × 8.39mm (Dark Gray) and 8.49mm (White), and weighs 219 grams. The phone is made of polymer material and features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Its key highlight is the IP68, IP69, and IP69+ water and dust resistance rating, which sets it apart in this price segment.

The Vivo Y31d features a 6.75-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 1570 × 720 pixels. This screen supports a 120Hz refresh rate and offers up to 1250 nits of brightness in HBM mode. It also boasts a 256 PPI pixel density and 83% NTSC color gamut support. For performance, the Vivo Y31d is equipped with a Snapdragon 6s Gen 2 4G processor, based on a 6nm process. It features an octa-core CPU with four cores clocked at 2.9GHz and four cores at 1.9GHz. The phone comes with 6GB and 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, with support for virtual RAM expansion. Storage is provided by 128GB of UFS 2.2 technology. In terms of the operating system, this smartphone runs on OriginOS 6, based on the latest Android 16.

The Vivo Y31d features a dual rear camera setup, including a 50MP primary camera with an f/2.0 aperture and a 2MP secondary sensor. Camera features include Night Mode, Portrait mode, 50MP high-resolution mode, Slow Motion, Pro mode, Document Alignment, and Underwater shooting. On the front, there’s an 8MP selfie camera with an f/2.05 aperture, which also supports Night Mode and Portrait mode.

The Vivo Y31d is powered by a large 7200mAh battery that supports 44W fast charging. Connectivity features include dual nano-SIM support, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 2.4GHz/5GHz, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, a USB Type-C port, and OTG support. The phone also includes sensors such as an accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, light sensor, e-compass, and infrared transmitter.
