Vivo Y50s 5G and Y50e 5G Budget Phones Launched with 6000mAh Battery: Price and Specifications

Vivo has added the Y50s 5G and Y50e 5G models to its Y-series. Both smartphones are specifically designed for long battery life, robust build quality, and everyday 5G use. In terms of design, both devices are identical. These new phones in the Vivo Y50 series target the entry-level 5G segment. Their key features include up to 12GB of RAM, a 6000mAh battery, and 128GB of eMMC 5.1 storage.

In terms of pricing, the Vivo Y50e 5G is priced at 1,499 yuan (approximately ₹19,300) for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant in China. The Vivo Y50s 5G starts at 1,799 yuan (approximately ₹23,200) for the 6GB + 256GB variant. This phone is also available in 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB storage options. Both smartphones are offered in Diamond, Sky Blue, and Platinum color options and are available for sale in China through Vivo’s official channels.

Regarding specifications, both the Vivo Y50s 5G and Vivo Y50e 5G feature a 6.74-inch flat LCD display with a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels. This panel supports a 20:9 aspect ratio and a 90Hz refresh rate. Both phones come with an IP64 rating, claiming a degree of protection against dust and water splashes.

For performance, both smartphones are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor. The Vivo Y50e 5G comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of eMMC 5.1 storage, while the Vivo Y50s 5G offers more RAM options along with 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. Both phones are powered by a large 6,000mAh battery. In terms of charging, the Y50e 5G supports 15W charging, while the Y50s 5G features 44W fast charging. Both phones also support OTG reverse charging.

In the camera department, both smartphones feature a 13-megapixel rear camera on the back, which supports autofocus and 1080p video recording. A 5-megapixel selfie camera is located on the front. Software-wise, both the Vivo Y50s 5G and Y50e 5G run on OriginOS 5 based on Android 15.
