HMD has expanded its wearable lineup by launching two new smartwatches, the HMD Watch X1 and HMD Watch P1. Both smartwatches offer basic fitness tracking and long battery life. HMD Watch X1 Specifications
The HMD Watch X1 is a premium smartwatch featuring a 1.43-inch circular AMOLED display with a resolution of 466×466 pixels and a peak brightness of 600 nits. The watch is equipped with an IP68 rating for water resistance. In terms of battery life, the watch can last for approximately 5 days on a single charge.
Regarding health features, the watch includes health and wellness features such as heart rate and blood oxygen sensors, sleep tracking, and over 700 sports modes. This watch also offers basic health reminders that alert you if you are inactive for too long and remind you to drink water. This watch comes in Gray Green, Black, Gray Metallic, and Silver Leather color options.
HMD Watch P1 Specifications
The HMD Watch P1 is a budget smartwatch with a 1.83-inch rectangular LCD display with a resolution of 284×240 pixels and a peak brightness of up to 550 nits. This watch comes with an IP67 rating, ensuring protection against dust and water. However, this watch is not suitable for swimming. This watch is available in Black and Silver colors.
In terms of battery backup, this watch offers a battery life of up to 4 days. This watch offers sleep monitoring and supports 700 sports modes. However, it lacks advanced features currently found in many smartwatches, such as GPS and NFC support, meaning it cannot track outdoor activities or facilitate contactless payments.
