Motorola has launched its new smartphone, the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion, in India. This is a new model in the company’s Edge series, featuring features like a quad-curved AMOLED display and fast charging. According to the company, the phone features a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, a Snapdragon-series processor, and a 50-megapixel primary rear camera. It also comes with Android 16-based Hello UI and a 7000mAh battery.
The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion price in India starts at ₹26,999. The phone is available in 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 256GB variants. The mid-range and top-end variants are priced at ₹29,999 and ₹32,999, respectively. The phone is offered in leather-inspired Pantone Silhouette, Pantone Blue Surf, and Pantone Country Air color options. According to the company, its early bird sale will be held on March 6th at 12 noon and 4 pm. The open sale will then begin on March 12th at 12 noon. The sale will be held on Flipkart. Launch offers include a flat ₹2,000 discount using HDFC and Axis Bank credit cards, or customers can avail an exchange bonus of ₹2,000.
The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion features a 6.78-inch 1.5K Quad Curved AMOLED display with support for a 144Hz refresh rate. The screen supports SGS Eye Protection, Smart Water Touch 3.0, and HDR 10+. The panel’s peak brightness can reach 5200 nits and it comes equipped with MIL-810H military-grade Gorilla Glass 7i protection.
The phone features a Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset with a vapor cooling chamber. Motorola claims it can run BGMI at 120 fps. The phone runs on Hello UI based on Android 16. The company promises three years of OS upgrades and five years of security upgrades. Along with Moto AI, the phone integrates Copilot, Perplexity, and Gemini.
Speaking of the camera, the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion features a 50-megapixel Sony-LYT 710 primary sensor with OIS support. It’s accompanied by a 13MP ultrawide-angle lens, a macro lens, and a depth sensor. For selfies and video calling, the phone has a 32-megapixel front camera. All sensors are capable of 4K recording.
The Edge 70 Fusion has a 7000mAh battery, made with silicon-carbon technology. The phone supports 68W fast charging, and a charger is reportedly included in the box. Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 6.0, GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. The phone also features an in-display fingerprint sensor and stereo speakers. The phone measures 7.99 mm thick and weighs 193 grams.
