itel launches Zeno 100 smartphone in India, with 5000mAh battery and 90Hz display for Rs 7,000

Itel has launched its new budget smartphone, the Zeno 100, in India. The company says this phone focuses on durability and connectivity. It features MIL STD 810H military-grade certification, which is not typically seen in budget smartphones. The phone features a 6.6-inch HD+ display, a UNISOC T7100 processor, and a 5000mAh battery. The smartphone runs on Android 15 Go Edition.

Pricing: The Zeno 100 has been launched in two variants. The 3GB + 64GB model is priced at Rs 6,866, while the 4GB + 64GB variant is available for Rs 7,285. The phone is available in Silk Green, Pure Black, and Titanium Gold color options. According to the company, this smartphone will be available for sale on Amazon.

The Zeno 100 features a 6.6-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 720 × 1612 pixels. It supports a 90Hz refresh rate and a 180Hz touch sampling rate. The screen also features a Dynamic Bar, which displays notifications and live alerts. The phone is powered by a 2.2GHz octa-core UNISOC T7100 processor with a Mali G57 MP1 GPU. It comes with 3GB or 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, which can be expanded up to 2TB via a microSD card.

Speaking of the camera, the Zeno 100 features an 8-megapixel rear camera with an LED flash. For selfies and video calling, the phone has a 5-megapixel front camera. Security features like a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and face unlock are also provided. Apart from this, it also has IR blaster, 3.5mm audio jack and DTS sound support.

For battery, the phone has a 5000mAh battery, which supports 10W charging. The company has also included a feature called Ultralink, which is said to help improve connectivity in areas with low network. For connectivity, it has features like dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5, GPS and USB Type C port. The phone comes with MIL STD 810H military grade durability certification.
