JBL Grip Speaker Launched in India: Compact Speaker Boasts 16W Sound and Up to 14 Hours of Playback!

JBL has officially launched its new JBL Grip ultra-portable Bluetooth speaker in India. This speaker has been specifically designed with easy portability and outdoor use in mind. According to the company, it features capabilities such as JBL Pro Sound, 16W output, AI Sound Boost technology, and an IP68 rating. The design is crafted to allow for easy handheld use or convenient hanging from any location. The company states that this speaker is engineered to deliver powerful sound despite its compact size.

The JBL Grip is priced at ₹11,999 in India. This speaker will be available for purchase on the company’s official website (in.JBL.com), at major retail stores, and across various e-commerce platforms. It is offered in six color options: Black, White, Purple, Red, Blue, and Camouflage.

The JBL Grip features JBL Pro Sound with a 16W output. It also incorporates AI Sound Boost technology, which analyzes music in real-time to optimize the speaker drivers, thereby minimizing distortion—even at high volumes—and enhancing bass clarity. Users have the option to pair two speakers for a stereo sound experience, or connect multiple speakers simultaneously via Auracast support.

The speaker boasts a highly compact design. A rope loop is integrated into the back of the speaker, making it easy to hang from a bag or a hook. Additionally, the back panel features an ambient light, the color and brightness of which users can customize to their preference via the JBL Portable app.

Regarding battery life, the company claims that the JBL Grip delivers approximately 12 hours of music playback on a single charge. Furthermore, enabling the “Playtime Boost” feature can provide up to 2 hours of additional playback time. This feature helps deliver louder and clearer sound by optimizing the speaker’s performance.

For durability, this speaker features an IP68 rating, ensuring protection against water and dust. According to the company, it has also been designed with drop protection. Furthermore, the speaker is crafted from post-consumer recycled plastic, and FSC-certified paper has been used for its packaging.
