Samsung has launched its new budget 5G smartphone, the Galaxy M17e 5G, in India. This phone comes packed with features such as a large display, long battery life, and 5G connectivity. According to the company, it features a 6.7-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, and a 6000mAh battery. Additionally, the phone runs on Android 16-based One UI 8, and the company states that it will receive long-term software and security updates.

The starting price for the Samsung Galaxy M17e 5G has been set at ₹12,999, applicable to its 4GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. A 6GB + 128GB variant is also available, priced at ₹14,499. The phone will be available in ‘Vibe Violet’ and ‘Blitz Blue’ color options and will be sold via Amazon, Samsung’s official website, and select retail stores. According to the company, a limited-period online sale will run today from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Regarding offers, a discount of up to ₹1,250 is also being provided on the device.
