Oppo K14 5G Launched in India: New Budget Phone Arrives with 7000mAh Battery and 120Hz Display
Oppo has officially launched its new smartphone, the Oppo K14 5G, in India. This is the latest addition to the company’s K-series, positioned within the mid-range segment. Prior to this, Oppo had already launched the K14x 5G in the country. According to Oppo, the new K14 5G features a 6.75-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, and a 7000mAh battery. Additionally, the phone runs on ColorOS 15—based on Android 15—and boasts IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.
The Oppo K14 5G carries a starting price of ₹17,999 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. Meanwhile, the 6GB + 256GB model is priced at ₹19,999, and the 8GB + 256GB variant is priced at ₹21,999. In terms of offers, an instant discount of up to ₹1,000 is available on HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, and SBI cards. The device will be available for purchase starting March 20 in Icy Blue, Prism Violet, and Prism White color options via the official Oppo India website and Flipkart.
The Oppo K14 5G features a 6.75-inch display offering a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of up to 1125 nits. The device operates on ColorOS 15, which is based on Android 15. The software comes equipped with a host of AI camera features, such as AI Recompose, AI Perfect Shot, AI Eraser 2.0, and AI Clarity Enhancer, among others. In terms of cameras, the Oppo K14 5G features a 50-megapixel AI primary camera paired with a 2-megapixel monochrome sensor. For selfies and video calls, it is equipped with an 8-megapixel front camera.
As for the battery, the device packs a large 7000mAh unit that supports 45W fast charging. According to the company, a single full charge allows the phone to deliver up to 18.9 hours of YouTube playback and up to 13 hours of video calling.
For performance, the device is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 octa-core processor. The company claims that this chipset not only delivers superior performance but also helps reduce the cold start time for applications. The phone offers configuration options with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. In terms of durability, the phone holds IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings, signifying that it is designed to provide protection against dust and water.
