Vivo, a major smartphone manufacturer, has launched a new
foldable smartphone. The Vivo X Fold 6 features an 8.02-inch Samsung M14 inner
foldable AMOLED screen and a 6.51-inch cover display. This book-style foldable
smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 Super processor.
Vivo X Fold 6 Price
The price for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant is CNY
7,999 (approximately ₹1,11,000); the 12GB + 512GB variant is priced at CNY
8,999 (approximately ₹1,25,000); the 16GB + 512GB variant at CNY 9,999 (approximately
₹1,38,700); and the 16GB + 1TB variant at CNY 10,999 (approximately ₹1,52,600).
Vivo has also introduced a 'Black Gold' edition of the smartphone. It is
available in Salt Lake, Blue Hole, and Polar Night color options.
Vivo X Fold 6 Specifications and Features
This dual-SIM foldable smartphone features an 8.02-inch
(2,504 x 2,312 pixels) inner foldable AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate
and a 300Hz touch sampling rate. It sports a 6.51-inch (1,120 x 2,528 pixels)
AMOLED screen on the outside. The Vivo X Fold 6 is powered by the octa-core
MediaTek Dimensity 9500 Super processor. The smartphone's rear camera setup
features a 200-megapixel primary camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS)
support, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 50-megapixel periscope
telephoto camera. It includes 20-megapixel cameras on both displays for selfies
and video calls. The smartphone is capable of recording video at up to 8K
resolution.
Connectivity options include 4G, 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS,
BeiDou, and a USB Type-C port. Sensors included in the smartphone are a
gyroscope, e-compass, ambient light sensor, and gravity sensor. The Vivo X Fold
6 is powered by a 7,000 mAh battery that supports 80W wired and 40W wireless
fast charging. It features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security.
When unfolded, the smartphone measures 157.16 x 145.66 x 4.40 mm; when folded,
it measures 157.16 x 74.26 x 9.40 mm, and it weighs approximately 228 grams.
