TCL has expanded its P80 series by introducing two new
smartphones: the TCL P80 and the TCL P80 Pro. It is worth noting that the TCL
P80 Ultra is already part of this series. The TCL P80 features a 120Hz display
and a 50MP main camera, powered by the Dimensity 7300 Elite chipset. Meanwhile,
the TCL P80 Pro sports a 6.83-inch 120Hz display. Like the Ultra model, this
phone is equipped with NxtPaper technology and runs on the MediaTek Dimensity
7400 Elite chipset. Let’s take a look at the key features of both smartphones

TCL P80 and TCL P80 Pro Prices
The starting price for the TCL P80 (8GB RAM, 128GB storage
variant) is €349 (approximately ₹38,500), while the 256GB storage variant is
priced at €379 (approximately ₹41,500). The phone is available in Midnight Blue
and Sunlight Gold color options. It can be purchased from Amazon as well as the
company's official website.
The starting price for the TCL P80 Pro (8GB RAM, 256GB
storage variant) is €429 (approximately ₹47,000), while the 512GB storage
variant is priced at €499 (approximately ₹55,000). This phone is also available
in Midnight Blue and Sunlight Gold colors.
TCL P80 Specifications
The TCL P80 features a 6.83-inch display with a resolution
of 2772 × 1280 pixels. The phone features a 120Hz refresh rate and offers a
peak brightness of 3200 nits. It comes with a 2560Hz touch response rate.
Unlike other models in the series, this phone does not include NxtPaper
technology. It is powered by the Dimensity 7300 Elite chipset, paired with 8GB
of RAM and up to 256GB of storage.
On the rear, the phone houses a 50MP main camera with OIS
and EIS support, accompanied by ultra-wide and telephoto lenses. It packs a
5000mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging. The device holds an IP68
rating for dust and water resistance and features stereo speakers with DTS
support for audio.
TCL P80 Pro Specifications
The TCL P80 Pro features a 6.83-inch display. It is equipped
with the company's proprietary NxtPaper technology, which enhances visual
comfort for the user. The display can switch to an e-reader mode, making
reading highly convenient. It also includes an anti-glare feature, ensuring the
screen remains visible even when wearing sunglasses, and significantly reduces
blue light emission.
It offers a peak brightness of 3200 nits and is powered by
MediaTek's Dimensity 7400 Elite chipset. The phone sports a 50-megapixel main
camera and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera; however, a telephoto camera is not
included. The company has promised 3 years of OS upgrades and 7 years of
security updates for the device.
