The Apple HomeView features a 7-inch Liquid Retina display
with a resolution of 1088×1088 pixels. It incorporates True Tone technology,
which adjusts screen colors based on ambient lighting. The display offers a
peak brightness of 500 nits and a minimum brightness of 0.3 nits. The device is
powered by the A18 chip. For video calls, it includes a 12MP Center Stage
camera that keeps the user centered in the frame during calls.
The Apple HomeView is equipped with Siri AI powered by Apple
Intelligence. This allows users to ask questions, search for music, and manage
smart home tasks. The device can recognize up to six different people,
providing a unique home screen and a personalized experience for each user.
However, Siri AI will launch with the English language. An iPhone or iPad with
Apple Intelligence support will also be required to use some of its personal
features.
Through HomeView, users can control compatible cameras,
lights, thermostats, doors, and blinds installed in their homes. It also offers
the option to view live feeds from up to nine cameras simultaneously. For
entertainment, it supports Apple Music, Apple Podcasts, Apple TV, and other
compatible apps. Its speakers support Spatial Audio and Dolby Atmos.
