Lenovo Tab launched in India: 5100mAh battery, Dolby Atmos support and price Rs 10,999, buy here

Lenovo has introduced its new Lenovo Tab in India, which has been specially brought for those looking for affordable tablet options. According to the company, this device comes with features like 10.1-inch Full-HD display, MediaTek Helio G85 processor, 4GB RAM and up to 128GB of storage. It has Android 14 based Lenovo ZUI 16, which will support Android OS upgrades for two years and security updates for four years. The tab also has a 5,100mAh battery, dual speakers with Dolby Atmos tuning and face unlock feature.

Talking about the price, the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage Wi-Fi variant of Lenovo Tab has been launched for Rs 10,999, while the Wi-Fi + LTE model of the same configuration will be available for Rs 12,999. The Wi-Fi version with 4GB RAM + 128GB storage will be available for Rs 11,998. The tablet will come in Polar Blue colour option and can be purchased from Lenovo.com, Lenovo Exclusive Stores, e-commerce platforms and select offline retail stores. During the launch, the company also introduced the 5G variant of Lenovo Idea Tab, which has been priced at Rs 16,999.

Coming to the specifications. The Lenovo Tab’s 10.1-inch (1,200×1,920 pixels) Full-HD display supports 60Hz refresh rate and 400nits peak brightness. The display has also received TÜV Rheinland’s Low Blue Light certification, which is said to have less impact on the eyes during long-term use.

For performance, it has the option of MediaTek Helio G85 octa-core chipset with 4GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 128GB of eMMC storage. Storage can be expanded via microSD card. This tablet comes with a metal body design, which is expected to improve its durability.

The camera setup has an 8MP rear camera at the back and a 5MP front camera at the front, which is designed for video calls and basic photography. For sound output, the device has dual speakers with Dolby Atmos support.

In terms of connectivity, it has Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi 5 and LTE (in select variants) support. This tablet comes with face unlock feature and the clear case that comes with it also has an inbuilt kickstand. According to the company, it can also be used as a digital photo frame or clock when Standby Mode is turned on. For power, the Lenovo Tab has a 5,100mAh battery, which supports 15W fast charging.
