Poco launches C85 in international market, MediaTek Helio G81-Ultra chipset

Chinese smartphone maker Poco has launched C85 in the international market. This smartphone has MediaTek Helio G81-Ultra as the processor. Poco C85 is available in three colors. It has a 6.9-inch LCD screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz.

This smartphone is listed on the company’s website in the Philippines. Its variant with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage is priced at $ 109 (about Rs 9,600). The 8 GB + 256 GB variant of this smartphone is priced at $ 129 (about Rs 11,400) for a limited period. It has been made available in Green, Purple and Black colors. However, this sub-brand of Xiaomi has not given information about the availability of this smartphone in India and other international markets.

This dual-SIM smartphone has a 6.9-inch display (1,600 × 720 pixels) with a variable refresh rate of 120 Hz, a touch sampling rate of 240 Hz, a peak brightness level of up to 880 nits and NTSC colour gamut coverage of 83 percent. It runs on HyperOS 2 based on Android 15. The company has said that the display of this smartphone supports a special ‘reading mode’. It has received TÜV Rheinland certification for eye protection. This smartphone supports DC dimming. It has MediaTek Helio G81-Ultra as a processor.

The storage of this smartphone can be expanded up to 1 TB via a microSD card. Poco C85 has a 50-megapixel rear camera with f/1.8 aperture and 1,080 p video recording capability. It has an 8-megapixel camera on the front for selfies and video calls. The 6,000 mAh battery of this smartphone supports 33 W wired fast charging. Recently, Poco launched the M7 Plus 5G in India. This smartphone has a 6.9-inch display. The 7,000 mAh battery of the company’s M7 Plus 5G supports 33 W wired charging and 18 W reverse wired charging. This smartphone has a 50-megapixel primary camera. It has an 8-megapixel camera on the front.
