CMF Headphone Pro: CMF launches its first over-ear wireless headphones, learn the price

CMF has expanded its audio lineup with the CMF Headphone Pro, its first over-ear wireless headphone. According to the company, the headphone supports Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and features swappable ear cushions. The headphone features 40mm drivers, up to 100 hours of playback time, and a roller dial. The CMF Headphone Pro features Hybrid ANC, which claims to reduce unwanted noise by up to 40dB.

Pricing: The CMF Headphone Pro is priced at $99 (approximately ₹8,000) in the US. In Europe, it is priced at 99 Euros (approximately ₹10,000) and in the UK at 79 Pounds (approximately ₹9,400). Color options include Dark Grey, Light Green, and Light Grey. According to the company, the headphones will be available for sale in the UK and European Union for now, while sales in the US will begin on October 7th. The device will be available for purchase through Nothing’s official website and select partners. A launch date for other markets, including India, is yet to be revealed.

Coming to the specifications, the CMF Headphone Pro is the company’s first over-ear headphone with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). It features swappable ear cushions that users can customize. These cushions will be available in Light Green and Orange shades. The roller dial is used to adjust volume, toggle ANC, and control music. The Energy Slider allows for adjusting bass and treble levels. There’s also a customizable button that allows users to instantly access Spatial Audio or an AI assistant.

Users can customize the CMF Headphone Pro’s controls using the Nothing X app. The 40mm drivers come with nickel-plated diaphragms, which the company claims reduce distortion and provide sharp clarity. It also features a 16.5mm copper voice coil, precision bass duct, and a dual-chamber design. The headphones support Hi-Res audio playback with SBC and LDAC audio codecs. Users can also set personal sound profiles.

CMF claims that the Headphone Pro offers up to 100 hours of playback time and up to 50 hours of talk time on a single full charge. With ANC on, the battery life is reduced to 50 hours. It features a USB Type-C port for both audio playback and charging. The company claims that just 5 minutes of quick charging can provide 5 hours of playback time, while it takes approximately 2 hours to fully charge.
