itel launches A100C smartphone in India, features Bluetooth calling! Learn the specifications
Itel has launched its new budget smartphone, the A100C. The smartphone, which enters the budget segment, features a 90Hz display, Android 15 (Go edition), and a 5000mAh battery. itel has stated that the A100C has received military-grade certification for its build quality. Furthermore, it comes with infrared remote control support. The smartphone’s camera module is reminiscent of the upcoming OnePlus 15, although there are some differences. The itel A100C features an 8MP main rear sensor and a 5MP front shooter.
itel has not yet revealed the price of the A100C, but the smartphone is listed on the company’s official website. It is available in Pure Black, Titanium Gold, Blaze Blue, and Silk Green color options. The price is expected to be revealed in the coming days.
In terms of specifications, the itel A100C features a 6.6-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 720×1612 pixels. This 8-bit screen offers a typical brightness of 400 nits and a screen-to-body ratio of approximately 90%. The A100C is powered by a Unisoc T7100 octa-core processor, paired with 4GB of RAM + 8GB of extended RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
The camera setup includes an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. The smartphone runs on Android 15 (Go edition) with a layer of Itel OS 15. It packs a 5000mAh battery, which is claimed to support up to 32 days of standby time, 27.7 hours of calls, or 8.5 hours of gaming. Charging is via a USB Type-C port.
Itel has also paid special attention to the durability of the phone. The A100C comes with MIL-STD-810H military-grade certification and is claimed to pass high temperature, humidity, and drop tests from 1.22 meters.
The itel A100C includes UltraLink, which allows calling and messaging via Bluetooth even without Wi-Fi or a network connection. It also has infrared remote support, side fingerprint and face unlock, and a DTS-tuned audio system. It is 8.49mm thick.
