Redmi Watch 6 launched: Over 150 sports modes and up to 24 days of battery life! Learn about the price and features

Redmi has launched its new smartwatch, the Redmi Watch 6, in China, alongside the Redmi K90 and Redmi K90 Pro Max. It features a 2.07-inch AMOLED color screen and runs Xiaomi Surge OS 3. It supports smart device interconnection and can also act as a controller via Converged Device Center. The Redmi Watch 6 features a 550mAh lithium-ion polymer battery, which claims to deliver approximately 12 days of battery life with regular use and up to 24 days with battery saving mode. Several advanced features for health and sports are also included.

The Redmi Watch 6 is priced at CNY 599 (approximately Rs. 7,400) in China. It is available in three color options – Blue Moon Silver, Elegant Black, and Misty Blue. Customers can purchase it directly from the Xiaomi China e-store.

The new Redmi Watch 6 features a high-strength aluminum alloy mid-frame, a stainless steel crown, and fiber-reinforced polymer. It features dual buttons. The smartwatch features a 2.07-inch AMOLED color screen with 2.5D gently curved glass. Its resolution is 432×514 pixels. The panel has 2mm ultra-narrow edges and supports 2000 nits peak brightness. It also supports Always-On Display (AOD). The watch runs on Xiaomi Surge OS 3 and features a Super Island interface.

The Redmi Watch 6 features over 150 sports modes for fitness and health tracking, with six automatically recognized. Health features include heart rate, blood oxygen (SpO2), sleep monitoring, and stress tracking. It supports smart device interconnection and can also act as a controller via the Converged Device Center.

The Redmi Watch 6 also features smart car control and supports a variety of apps, making everyday tasks and entertainment easier. Users can respond quickly with WeChat quick replies, voice replies, emoticons, and message shortcuts.

Sensors include an optical heart rate sensor (waterproof), accelerometer, gyroscope, ambient light sensor, and geomagnetic sensor. For GPS and GNSS tracking, it has dual L1 GNSS antennas that support BeiDou, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and QZSS. Connectivity features include Bluetooth 5.4 and NFC. The watch is 5ATM water resistant, making it suitable for swimming and shallow water use, though it’s not suitable for hot showers, saunas, or deep diving.

The Redmi Watch 6 packs a 550mAh lithium-ion polymer battery that claims to deliver approximately 12 days of battery life with regular use and up to 24 days with battery-saving mode. It includes a linear vibration motor that supports over 20 vibration types. It measures 9.9mm thick and weighs 31g (without the strap).
