OnePlus 15 Launched: OnePlus 15 launched at this price with 7300mAh battery and gaming features
The OnePlus 15 has finally been launched. This year, ditching the OnePlus 14 name, the company launched the OnePlus 15 directly after the OnePlus 13. The change isn’t just in the name, but also in the design. The company has moved from the old circular camera module to a square one. New color options have also been introduced, and several major upgrades have been included in the specifications. The new OnePlus 15 comes with a high-refresh rate display, a flagship Qualcomm chipset, and a large silicon-carbon battery. OnePlus claims that this year’s flagship will not only deliver strong performance but also long-lasting backup.
OnePlus 15 price, availability
The OnePlus 15 starts at CNY 3,999 (approximately Rs. 50,000) for the base 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. The 16GB RAM + 256GB storage variant is priced at CNY 4,299 (approximately Rs. 53,100), the 12GB + 512GB variant is priced at CNY 4,599 (approximately Rs. 57,000), and the 16GB + 512GB model is priced at CNY 4,899 (approximately Rs. 60,600). The top-end variant comes with 16GB RAM and 1TB storage, priced at CNY 5,399 (approximately Rs. 66,700).
The OnePlus 15 is also offered in a brand new Sand Dune color option. Absolutely Black and Matt Purple (both translated names) will also be available. The phone will go on sale in China on October 28.

As we mentioned, the OnePlus 15’s camera module design has been completely changed compared to the OnePlus 13. This year, the company has integrated three cameras inside a small square module. The OnePlus 15 features a 6.78-inch FHD+ (1,272×2,772 pixels) 1.5K LTPO AMOLED display that can switch between a 1 to 165Hz refresh rate and offers a peak brightness of 1800 nits. This is a Flexible Oriental OLED panel from BOE, which supports a 330Hz touch sampling rate, Dolby Vision, and 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut.
The OnePlus 15 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, paired with an Android 840 GPU, up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage. The phone runs on Android 16-based Color OS 16. This year, gaming has been given special emphasis. The phone features a new Ice River vapor cooling system. The company has also mentioned that it includes 165 fps support for some games.
The OnePlus 15 features a 50MP 1/1.4″ main rear camera with an f/1.8 aperture and OIS. Other cameras in the setup include a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with an f/1.8 aperture and OIS-supported 3.5x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultra-wide lens with an f/2.0 aperture. The OnePlus 15 also features a Hasselblad-tuned system capable of recording video at up to 8K resolution. The phone also features a 32MP shooter with an f/2.4 aperture on the front.
Another highlight of the OnePlus 15 is its large battery. The phone comes with a 7300mAh battery that supports 120W wired fast charging, 50W wireless charging, 10W reverse wireless, and 5W reverse wired charging. It also has magnet charging support. OnePlus claims the phone can charge a 5,000mAh battery in 13 minutes. It can deliver 6 hours of video playback in 5 minutes of charging.
The phone has an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, IR Blaster, NFC, and stereo speakers. It supports dual-band or tri-band Wi-Fi, along with Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, BDS, GALILEO, QZSS (L1+L5), and NavIC. The device is rated IP68 + IP69. It measures 161.42×76.67×8.10 mm and weighs 211 grams.
