OnePlus Ace 6 Launched: OnePlus phone with the largest battery in its segment, up to 1TB of storage

OnePlus has finally launched its new flagship smartphone, the OnePlus Ace 6, in China. This phone succeeds last year’s OnePlus Ace 5 and will be launched as the OnePlus 15R in global markets, including India. The company has touted its impressive combination of power, performance, and battery life. It features a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, a 7,800mAh battery, an AMOLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate, and a 50MP OIS camera setup.

OnePlus Ace 6 price, availability

The new OnePlus Ace 6 is priced starting at CNY 2,599 (approximately Rs. 32,300) in China for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant. The phone will also be available in 16GB + 256GB, 12GB + 512GB, and 16GB + 512GB versions, priced at CNY 2,899 (approximately Rs. 36,000), CNY 3,099 (approximately Rs. 38,800), and CNY 3,399 (approximately Rs. 42,200) respectively. The top configuration, which comes with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, is priced at CNY 3,899 (approximately Rs. 48,400).

The OnePlus Ace 6 will be available for sale in Quicksilver, Flash White, and Black color options on the Oppo e-Shop, JD Mall, and other online platforms starting October 30.

OnePlus Ace 6 specifications, availability

The OnePlus Ace 6 features a 6.83-inch 1.5K (1272×2800 pixels) AMOLED flat display with support for a 165Hz refresh rate and 5000 nits peak brightness. It features an in-display 3D fingerprint scanner and eye-protection features. Powering the phone is a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor with the G2 gaming chip. The phone is equipped with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage.

Speaking of the camera setup, the OnePlus phone features a 50MP primary camera (with OIS support) and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. There’s a 16MP selfie camera on the front.

The company has also paid special attention to the phone’s design. It features a metal frame and comes with IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings. It features a customizable “Plus Key” button, allowing users to assign settings like switching ring mode, opening the camera, translating, or turning on the flashlight.

The OnePlus Ace 6 sets a new benchmark in terms of battery life. The phone packs a massive 7,800mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging. According to the company, this is the largest battery in its segment. However, it lacks wireless charging support.
