Huawei’s new budget smartphone can make calls even without network connectivity, launched at this price.

Wiko has launched its new smartphone, the Wiko X70, in China. This phone comes with several features typically found only in flagship devices. Its biggest highlight is BeiDou satellite connectivity support, which works even without a mobile network. This means you can stay connected in an emergency even if you don’t have a signal. Additionally, the phone features a 6.7-inch OLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is protected by Kunlun Glass.

According to HuaweiCentral, the model announced by Huawei in China is available in three storage variants: 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 512GB configurations, with a starting price of 1,399 yuan (approximately Rs. 17,500). The phone will be available in three color options: Black, White, and Light Green.

Specifications: The Wiko X70 features a 6.7-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Kunlun Glass protection. Huawei has not yet shared details about its chipset. The phone has been launched in multiple variants with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage.

For photography, the phone features a 50MP rear camera, while a 32MP front camera is available for selfies and video calling.

For power, it has a large 6,100mAh battery that supports 40W fast charging. According to the company, this phone will be able to provide long backup on a single charge. The body thickness is 7.6mm and it comes with an IP54 rated build, which means it is claimed to be protected from light water splashes and dust.

The Wiko X70 has dual SIM support, a USB 2.0 port, and all the basic connectivity options. Although it is a budget phone, high-end features like satellite connectivity make it unique in its segment.
