Honor has launched its new flagship Honor Magic 8 Pro in the global market. The phone features a 6.71-inch LTPO OLED display, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of up to 6,000 nits. It is powered by Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, supported by an Adreno 840 GPU. Running on MagicOS 10 (Android 16), this device comes with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage. Additionally, the phone features a 50MP selfie camera and a 3D depth sensor on the front, and a 200MP triple camera setup on the back. Let’s take a closer look at its price and specifications.

Honor Magic 8 Pro specifications

The Honor Magic 8 Pro features three cameras on the back, starting with a 50MP ultra-wide camera, along with another 50MP CIPA 5.5 sensor (1/1.3-inch) that helps with depth and portrait detailing. The highlight of the setup is the large 200MP 1/1.4-inch sensor, which supports up to 3.7x optical and 100x digital zoom. The 50MP front camera comes with a 3D sensor, which improves both face scanning and bokeh effects.

The global model features a 7,100mAh battery with support for 100W wired charging and 80W wireless charging. However, the Chinese version has a slightly larger battery (7,200mAh) and faster charging (120W).

The phone comes with an IP68, IP69, and IP69K rated build. It weighs 219 grams and measures 8.32 mm thick. It features an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner and supports all essential connectivity options, including 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, USB Type-C, and GPS/AGPS.

The Honor Magic 8 Pro is priced in Malaysia at RM 4,599 (approximately Rs. 99,000) for the base 12GB + 512GB model. The 16GB + 1TB variant is priced at RM 5,199 (approximately Rs. 112,000). It is available in Black, Sunrise Gold, and Sky Cyan colours.
