OPPO Reno 15 Pro Max Launched Globally with 200MP Camera and 50MP Selfie Sensor

The OPPO Reno 15 series is being eagerly awaited in India. The OPPO Reno 15 and 15 Pro have already been launched in the international market. Now, the company has also introduced another new model, the OPPO Reno 15 Pro Max. This is the largest and most premium phone in the series and will be available for sale first in Taiwan. This OPPO mobile comes equipped with a 50MP selfie camera, a 200MP main camera, a 6500mAh battery, and a Dimensity 8450 processor.

Starting with the performance power of the OPPO Reno 15 Pro Max, this mobile is launched with the MediaTek Dimensity 8450 chipset. This is an octa-core processor built on 4nm fabrication, capable of running at clock speeds ranging from 2.1GHz to 3.3GHz. Notably, the OPPO Reno 15 and Reno 15 Pro, which have already been launched in China, also use the same chipset.

The camera is one of the biggest highlights of the OPPO Reno 15 Pro Max. This smartphone supports a triple rear camera setup. On the back panel, there is a 200-megapixel camera with an f/1.8 aperture that works with OIS technology. Along with this, the mobile features a 50-megapixel Periscope Telephoto lens with an f/2.8 aperture and 3.5x zoom capability.

The Reno 15 Pro Max’s rear camera module also includes a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with an f/2.0 aperture that supports a 116° field of view. For selfies and video calling, the Reno 15 Pro Max 5G phone is equipped with a 50-megapixel front camera that works with a 100° FOV and an f/2.0 aperture. The Oppo Reno 15 Pro Max smartphone has been launched with a 6.78-inch FullHD+ display with a resolution of 2772 × 1272 pixels. It features a flat screen built on an OLED panel, offering a 120Hz refresh rate, 1800 nits of brightness, and a 450ppi output. This mobile is equipped with in-display fingerprint sensor technology and has a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 for screen protection.

For power backup, the OPPO Reno 15 Pro Max 5G is equipped with a 6,500mAh battery in the global market. It’s worth noting that the Reno 15 Pro also had a 6500mAh battery, while the Reno 15 came with a 6200mAh battery. To quickly charge the Reno 15 Pro Max’s large battery, it features 80W Flash Charge wired fast charging and 50W wireless fast charging technology.

In the global market, the Oppo Reno 15 Pro Max runs on ColorOS 16.0 based on Android 16. For connectivity, it includes features like Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi 6, and NFC. An X1 chip is also included for improved Wi-Fi performance. This new Oppo mobile supports LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage, as well as USB OTG. It is an IP69 certified waterproof phone.

The OPPO Reno 15 Pro Max has been launched in Taiwan with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. The price of the mobile in that country is TWD 24,990, which is approximately ₹71,000 in Indian currency. There is currently no concrete information on whether the Reno 15 Pro Max will be launched in India. This new Oppo 5G phone will be available for sale in Taiwan in Twilight Gold and Desert Brown colors.
