Honor Magic 8 Pro Air Launched with 5,500mAh Battery: Price and Specifications

Chinese smartphone maker Honor launched the Honor Magic 8 Pro Air on Friday. This smartphone features a MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor and is available in four colors. The company also unveiled the Honor Magic 8 RSR Porsche Design alongside it.

Honor Magic 8 Pro Air Price and Availability

Launched in China, the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant of this smartphone is priced at CNY 4,999 (approximately Rs. 65,300), the 12GB + 512GB variant at CNY 5,299 (approximately Rs. 69,200), the 16GB + 512GB variant at CNY 5,599 (approximately Rs. 73,100), and the 16GB + 1TB variant at CNY 5,999 (approximately Rs. 78,300). The Honor Magic 8 Pro Air is available in Feather White, Fairy Purple, Light Orange, and Shadow Black colors. Sales of this smartphone will begin on January 23rd in China through the company’s website.

Honor Magic 8 Pro Air Specifications

This smartphone features a 6.31-inch (1,216 x 2,640 pixels) OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 460 ppi pixel density, and a peak brightness level of 6,000 nits. The Honor Magic 8 Pro Air uses a MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor and has a Mali G1-Ultra MC12 GPU. Its triple rear camera unit includes a 50-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.6 aperture and optical image stabilization (OIS) support, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 64-megapixel telephoto camera. The front of the phone features a 50-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.

For connectivity, it offers 4G, 5G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, BeiDou, and a USB Type-C port. The smartphone includes an accelerometer, proximity sensor, gyroscope, and e-compass. For security, it has an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. The Honor Magic 8 Pro Air’s 5,500 mAh battery supports 80W wired and 50W wireless fast charging. The smartphone measures 150.5 x 71.9 x 6.1 mm and weighs approximately 155 grams.
