Not in the ear, but on the ear! Realme Buds Clip TWS Earbuds Launched in India, Know the Price

Realme has launched its first clip-style truly wireless earbuds, the Realme Buds Clip, in India. These earbuds differ from traditional in-ear designs, featuring an open-ear, clip-on form factor that rests around the auricle instead of fitting inside the ear canal. The company claims this design reduces pressure and fatigue on the ears during prolonged use.

The Realme Buds Clip are priced at ₹5,999 in India. They will be available in Titanium Black and Titanium Gold color options. Sales will begin on February 5th at 12 PM. As a launch offer, an instant discount of ₹500 is being offered, bringing the effective price down to ₹5,499. They will be available for purchase on Realme’s official website, Flipkart, Amazon.in, and offline retail stores.

In terms of design, the Realme Buds Clip are specifically designed for lightweight comfort and long-term use. Each earbud weighs 5.3 grams and features a matte, frosted finish that resists sweat and oil. The C-bridge uses titanium-fit memory metal, which is claimed to provide both strength and flexibility. According to the company, this structure is durable enough to withstand over 10,000 expansion cycles and 3,000 torsion cycles.

For audio, these earbuds feature 11mm dual-magnet large-amplitude drivers. They utilize the NextBass algorithm, which claims to boost low-frequency sound without compromising vocal clarity. 3D spatial audio support is also included. Sound-Leap directional technology focuses sound directly towards the ear, which is claimed to reduce sound leakage.

For calls, the Realme Buds Clip feature AI dual-mic environmental noise cancellation. These earbuds support the Gemini-powered AI voice assistant. Additionally, they include a Next AI-based real-time translation feature that supports over 30 languages.

In terms of connectivity, the Realme Buds Clip use Bluetooth 5.4 (with SBC and AAC codec support). They offer Dual-Device Connection 2.0, Swift Pair, and a 45ms ultra-low latency mode. Users also get features like touch controls, Find My Earbuds, loud-find, and offline location tracking.

Regarding battery life, the earbuds have a 45mAh battery, while the charging case houses a 530mAh battery. The company claims the earbuds can last up to 7 hours on a single charge, and the total playback time with the case reaches up to 36 hours. Charging is done via a USB Type-C port, with the earbuds taking approximately 1 hour to fully charge and the earbuds and case together taking about 2 hours. The Realme Buds Clip also have an IP55 rating, making them resistant to dust and water splashes.
