iQOO 15 Ultra Launched with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, Advanced Cooling System, and 7,400mAh Battery
iQOO has launched its new gaming flagship smartphone, the iQOO 15 Ultra, in China. It is specifically designed for hardcore gamers. It offers users a powerful processor, an advanced cooling system, and a high-end display. Let’s take a detailed look at the full specifications, price, and availability.
The iQOO 15 Ultra features a 6.85-inch flat Samsung M14 AMOLED display. It supports 2K resolution (3168×1440 pixels), a 144Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 8,000 nits. This display comes with 118% DCI-P3 color coverage, HDR support, 2160Hz PWM dimming, and DC dimming. This helps reduce eye strain and provides better motion clarity. For gaming, it also features 4000Hz touch sampling and 480Hz multi-finger response.
In terms of performance, the iQOO 15 Ultra is powered by a 3nm process-based Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. It is paired with an Adreno 840 GPU, LPDDR5X Ultra Pro RAM, and UFS 4.1 storage. The phone also features the company’s in-house Q3 Esports chip, which supports real-time 2K upscaling, full-scene ray tracing, and 120fps frame interpolation. According to the company, this phone scores approximately 4.51 million on AnTuTu, which could make it the most powerful smartphone in the Android segment.
To maintain high performance for extended periods, the iQOO 15 Ultra features an Ice Dome cooling system. It features a 17x17mm 59-blade fan, an 8,000mm² vapor chamber, graphite layers, and aerogel insulation. This cooling system is TÜV Rheinland certified. To further enhance the gaming experience, the phone also includes pressure-sensitive shoulder triggers, a magnetic-axis motor for 4D vibration, and a 500Hz gyroscope.
In terms of software, the iQOO 15 Ultra runs on OriginOS 6 based on Android 16. It features Atomic Motion 6.0 animations and a new Game Space dashboard, making game management and performance analysis easier. The 16GB + 512GB variant costs 5,999 yuan (approximately ₹78,200). The third model, the 16GB + 1TB variant, is priced at 6,999 yuan (approximately ₹91,200), and the top model, the 24GB + 1TB variant, costs 7,699 yuan (approximately ₹1,00,300). This powerful iQOO smartphone is available for pre-order in China. Sales will begin on February 10th.
