Tecno Pova Curve 2 5G phone launched in India with 8000mAh battery, up to 256GB storage; learn the price

Tecno has launched its new Pova Curve 2 5G smartphone in India. According to the company, this is the latest model in the Curve series, featuring a 6.78-inch 1.5K 3D curved AMOLED display. The phone offers a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 4500 nits of peak brightness, and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 processor, paired with 8GB of RAM and 8GB of virtual RAM. The device features a 50MP primary camera and an 8000mAh battery with 45W fast charging.

Talking about the price, the 8GB + 128GB variant of the Tecno Pova Curve 2 5G has been priced at ₹27,999, while the 8GB + 256GB model will come for ₹29,999. This phone will be available in Mystic Purple, Storm Titanium, and Melting Silver color options. The sale will start on February 20 on Flipkart and offline retail stores, while pre-bookings will start from February 13. As part of the launch offer, an instant cashback of ₹1,500 is being given on all banks and a cashback of up to ₹3,000 on 3 or 6 months no-cost EMI.

The Tecno Pova Curve 2 5G is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7100 6nm octa-core processor with a clock speed of up to 2.4GHz. It features a Mali G610 GPU, 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and 128GB or 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The phone runs HiOS 16 based on Android 16, featuring ELLA AI 2.0 and multilingual support for Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, Gujarati, and Marathi.

The phone features a 6.78-inch (2644 × 1208 pixels) 1.5K 3D curved AMOLED display. The panel comes equipped with a 120Hz refresh rate, 4500 nits peak brightness, and 230Hz PWM dimming support. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.

Talking about the camera setup, the rear has a 50MP main sensor with an f/1.7 aperture, along with a 2MP macro sensor. The phone supports 2K 30fps video recording. There’s a 13MP selfie camera on the front. According to the company, it features a segment-first All-Scenario AI Noise Reduction feature, which claims to deliver clearer voice during calls, video meetings, or gaming.

The phone features a G1 signal enhancement chip and an SE1 WiFi enhancement chip. The company claims this improves mobile signal by 33 to 100 percent and WiFi strength by up to 60 percent. The device features an in-display fingerprint sensor, IP64 dust and splash resistance, Dolby Atmos support, and USB Type C audio. With a 7.42mm thin design and a weight of 195 grams, it packs an 8000mAh battery and supports 45W charging.
