Realme C83 5G launched in India: Budget-friendly 7000mAh battery and 144Hz display, learn price and specifications
Realme has launched its new smartphone, the Realme C83 5G, in India. This is a new model in the company’s C series, featuring features like a large battery and a high refresh rate display. According to the company, the phone features a 6.8-inch HD+ LCD display with support for a 144Hz refresh rate. It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, a 13-megapixel rear camera, and a 7000mAh battery. This smartphone runs on Android 16-based Realme UI 7.0.
Regarding pricing, the Realme C83 5G has been launched in three variants. The 4GB + 64GB model is priced at ₹13,499. The 4GB + 128GB variant is available for ₹14,499, and the 6GB + 128GB model for ₹17,499. According to the company, the phone’s first sale will begin on March 7, 2026. It is offered in Blooming Purple and Sprouting Green color options. Customers will be able to purchase it from Flipkart, realme.com, and offline stores. As part of the launch offer, a no-cost EMI option of up to 6 months is also available.
The Realme C83 5G features a 6.8-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1570 × 720 pixels. It supports a 144Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 900 nits. For power backup, the phone has a large 7000mAh battery that supports 15W fast charging. It also offers features like reverse wired charging and bypass charging. The phone comes with an IP64 dust and splash resistance rating. It also features ArmorShell protection and MIL STD 810H military-grade shock resistance certification.
The Realme C83 5G is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 octa-core processor paired with a Mali G57 MC2 GPU. It comes with 4GB or 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB or 128GB of eMMC 5.1 storage. This storage is expandable up to 2TB via a microSD card.
Speaking of the camera, the Realme C83 5G features a 13-megapixel rear camera with an LED flash. For selfies and video calling, the phone has a 5-megapixel front camera. The phone also features AI Outdoor Mode, which claims to optimize system performance, speaker volume, network response, and display brightness during outdoor use.
Connectivity options include 5G, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. The phone also features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a 3.5mm audio jack, and stereo speakers.
