Motorola Edge 60 Stylus launched in India. As the name suggests, the most noticeable thing about the handset is its built-in stylus. The smartphone runs on Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC and gets 8GB LPDDR4X RAM in the top-of-the-line configuration. The phone has expandable storage support, through which the onboard 256GB storage can be expanded up to 1TB. Motorola says that the Edge 60 Stylus will receive OS version upgrades for two years and security updates for three years.
Motorola Edge 60 Stylus price in India, availability
The Motorola Edge 60 Stylus has been introduced in India in only one variant (8GB + 256GB), priced at Rs 22,999. It has been introduced in Pantone Gibraltar Sea and Pantone Surf the Web color options. The phone will be available for purchase in the country from 12 noon IST on April 23 through Motorola India’s official website as well as Flipkart and select retail stores.
Motorola has also introduced some launch offers, under which customers buying it from Flipkart can get an exchange discount of Rs 1,000. Apart from this, an instant discount of Rs 1,000 will be available on full swipe transactions through Axis and IDFC Bank credit card users. At the same time, Reliance Jio users can get benefits worth Rs 8,000 including shopping, flight and hotel booking deals on buying the phone and will also get cashback of up to Rs 2,000.
Motorola Edge 60 Stylus specifications
The Motorola Edge 60 Stylus runs on Android 15-based Hello UI. It gets a 6.67-inch 1.5K (1,220 x 2,712 pixels) 2.5D pOLED display panel with 120Hz refresh rate and 3,000nits peak brightness level. There is 300Hz touch sampling rate support for better gaming. The company says that it includes technology called Aqua Touch, which ensures smooth touch operation even when water falls on the screen or with wet fingers. Motorola says that it has received SGS Low Blue Light and Motion Blur Reduction certification along with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
The Motorola Edge 60 Stylus runs on Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC, paired with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS2.2 onboard storage. Storage can be expanded up to 1TB via microSD card.
The triple rear camera unit of the Motorola Edge 60 Stylus includes a 50-megapixel Sony LYTIA 700C primary sensor, a 13-megapixel ultrawide shooter, and a dedicated 3 in 1 light sensor. There is a 32-megapixel shooter on the front.
The Edge 60 Stylus packs a 5,000mAh battery that supports 68W wired and 15W wireless charging. Its built-in stylus is housed in a slot on the bottom edge. It supports several AI features. The handset has dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support. The company says it has received MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability certification and IP68 rating. The phone is equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G with Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C. The dimensions of the handset are 162.15×74.78×8.29 mm and its weight is 191 grams.
