Redmi K Pad tablet launched with 8.8-inch display, 7500mAh battery, 16GB RAM, know the price
Xiaomi has launched its new flagship tablet Redmi K Pad in China. This compact tablet has an 8.8-inch 3K LCD screen, which comes with 165Hz variable refresh rate and 700 nits HBM brightness. According to the company, it will get Android’s first 3K super-resolution full frame gaming experience. The tablet has a Dimensity 9400+ SoC processor, an extra-large liquid-cooled VC system and chip-centric architecture, which improves heat management.
Talking about the price, Redmi K Pad has been launched in five variants. Its starting price is 2799 yuan (about Rs 33,400), which offers 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. At the same time, its top model comes with 16GB RAM and 1TB storage, which is priced at 4199 yuan (about Rs 50,100). The tablet has been introduced in Spruce Green, Smoky Purple and Deep Black color options. Currently it is available only in China.
The Redmi K Pad has an 8.8-inch size display with 3008 x 1880 resolution, 16:10 ratio, which supports HDR10, HDR Vivid and Dolby Vision. It also has 372Hz touch sampling and 1080Hz instant touch sampling rate. Gorilla Glass 5 has been used to protect the screen.
This tablet has Xiaomi’s HyperOS 2 (Android 15 based) and comes in up to 8GB and 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage options. For photography, there is a 13MP camera at the back and an 8MP selfie camera at the front.
For sound, the company has included a new “four-voice coil symmetrical dual speaker” system in it. It also has a dual X-axis linear motor. Apart from this, Xiaomi also has a new three-antenna gaming architecture, which reduces gaming latency.
Talking about the battery, it has a 7500mAh battery, which supports 67W fast charging. The special thing is that this is Xiaomi’s first tablet with dual USB-C port and bypass charging plus feature.
