Philips launches new OLED and MiniLED TV equipped with these technologies

World’s renowned electronic company Philips has introduced MiniLED TV and OLED TV technology. The company has announced the launch of two mini LED TVs this year. The size of these mini LED TVs 9636 will be 65 inches and the size of 9506 will be 75 inches. It will be the first mini LED to be offered by the company. Here we are telling you how the features and specifications of these new TVs are.

The MiniLED is based on a backlight technology that uses thousands of smaller LEDs for greater brightness control and stronger contrast than older LCD-LED TVs. The pixels of OLED or MicroLED panels are not available in this technology. For users, both LG’s new QNED range and the best Samsung TV will get MiniLED technology this year.

Talking about technology, both Philips TV 9636 and 9506 will have Philips 5th generation P5 picture processor user. They can also be used by TV manufacturers in OLED models. The latest P5 chip has been upgraded to check picture settings under a new film detection category for anti-burn-in technology.

Through this, the light-sensitive HDR10+ Adaptive Mode introduced by Samsung last year can be supported. Talking about the availability of these MiniLED TVs, they may be available in the middle of 2021. These 9636 models will feature audio specialist Bowers & Wilkins’s 3.1.2 sound system.

Philips has introduced 2 new OLED TVs 806 and 856 after the 805/855 model introduced last year. Talking about the size, the 806 TV will come in 48-inch, 55-inch, 65-inch and 77-inch, while talking about the size of 856, it will be available only in 55-inch and 65-inch size.

Both of these Philips TVs will support HDR10+, HLG and Dolby Vision. Apart from this, Razor-Thin Zero Bezel Design will also be available in these TVs, which is quite popular in the premium TVs of the current era. Talking about the sound system, these TVs will get 50W 2.1 sound system and DTS Play-Fi support. These will have HDMI 2.1 support along with the advantages of eARC and VRR. Apart from this, these TVs run on Android 10 Smart TV platform. These OLED TVs will be introduced in the middle of 2021.

All these MiniLED and OLED TVs will get 4-sided ambilights. Through this, users can use Philips’ unique color projection system in a great way. Apart from this, 9206 TVs with 55-inch and 65-inch sizes and 8506 TVs ranging in size from 43 to 75 inches can be found in many other standard ambilight TVs.
